Anytown Youth Leadership Institute

Anytown Youth Leadership Institute operates in two models. The first being a weekend long, 2.5 day residential program, and the other  a week long residential camp. Each camp format involves a year of follow-up activities after camp. Anytown welcomes high school students from across the entire Miami Valley. At Anytown, young people address societal issues such as race, ethnicity, gender, religion, economic status, disability and sexual orientation. Delegates live and interact with a diverse group of their peers, learning to build an inclusive and respectful community. By the end of Anytown, these young people have the skills and confidence to speak up for others and themselves. All Anytown staff members are FBI/BCI background checked and trained to facilitate meaningful dialogue and experiences with the delegates.

Please note: Our spring and Summer 2021 sessions are being planned using Zoom, and day long in-person sessions removing the overnight component. Our November camp is currently planned to be overnight. Camp times, and structure are subject to change dependent on the situation with COVID-19.
