NCCJ is in its eighth year of conducting Agents of Change, a program promoting diversity and inclusion, at the Fairfield Freshman School. Funded by the Fairfield City Schools, nearly 400 young people have learned to recognize the positive impact of including all people in the community and celebrating the talents and strengths of everyone’s heritage. This program combines volunteerism, diversity training and facilitation skills. The students work in their own school to create and maintain inclusive communities. The program offers the option of developing a team to work with fourth through sixth and/or middle school grades to reduce prejudice and build inclusion.
