Police and Youth Together (PAYT) is a week long summer program and includes a year of monthly follow-up sessions. PAYT is for youth ages 10-12 and it’s completely FREE!

The goals of PAYT program are to create positive relationships between officers and youth, teach leadership skills and build positive relationships between youth from diverse backgrounds. And it all happens while having FUN!  At PAYT 2016,  students participated in activities including fishing, meeting members of the K-9 Unit, CSI, Bomb Squad and SWAT team. Participants built relationships with officers and with each other, while participating in sports and other team building activities.

The 2017 camp runs from Monday, July 24, through Friday, July 28.  The camp has limited availability so please send in your application as soon as possible. The applications can be found here.

NCCJ has partnered with Wesley Community Center and East End Community Center to implement two new Neighborhood  Police and Youth Together camps as a part of their summer programs. Each will  operate for approximately six weeks.
