Anytown Youth Leadership Institute

The Anytown Youth Leadership Institute addresses societal issues regarding race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability and economic status.Forty High school students from throughout the Miami Valley participate in a week-long residential program that provides an opportunity for delegates to live and interact with a diverse group of their peers. The teens create a community based on inclusiveness, respect and understanding that serves as a model to their schools and the greater community. The Anytown summer residential program is followed with periodic activities during the school year, Anytown-in-Action, to support and reinforce the knowledge and skills developed during the summer. Colleges and workplaces are increasingly seeking individuals who can succeed in culturally diverse settings. Anytown helps prepare students to enter diverse environments and to excel and achieve in these environment.

 The delegates all leave together on buses  from the University of Dayton on Sunday afternoon. Find out more by reading the 2017 Anytown Brochure
